• inferiority complex: you feel you are worst than other people or less than other people because they depend on themselves. Your own strength.
• 3 S's
  • Security - in Christ
  • Significance - how do people value me? significance is in Christ
  • Self worth - in Christ
• Meekness: Confident humility because you depend on God. God anoints your talents.
  • You have the authority, strength, position. I can do it, but I “choose” not to do it and humble myself and ask the team to do it.
  • An attitude.
  • patience and gentleness
  • depending on God to get things done.

• Personally depends on the “situation”
• In board room with VPs and such, you feel inferior
• In ministry, you have the confidence.
• Should be the same for work too.
• When tasks are easy, you depend on yourself. When too hard, you depend on God.

• fear for God's calmness. He's got your back.
• self dependence for God's strength
• worldly wisdom for Godly wisdom
• business relationships for real relationships
• greed for God's financial provision
• self-motivation for doing your best for God.

  • God provides all power

1. depend more on God
2. confess the word of God
3. draw near in prayer

   • develop healthy devotional and prayer life!!!
4. exchange our strength for His strength.
   • process: our strength combined with God strength → completely rely on God's strength only

• 2 Cor 12:7-9

  • Paul prayed for healing 3 times. God answered my grace is sufficient. Paul was not healed.
  • Why did God allow this?
    • when he felt the pain, it would remind him. Keep him humble.
• we should have empathy for other's pain.
  • if we are inferior, we will not feel the pain because we are trying to help ourself.
  • if we are meek, we will consult God, and depend on him.

• at CPC
  • when we are in crisis we will pray
  • we are caught up too much in life
• a remnant is all that's needed for God to start intervening
  • God will intervene before everyone is in agreement.
  • only need a remnant to cry out to God.

1. Learn to Let’s Go Now – Letting go our dependency of self intellect, ego…
   • Even when God calls, doesn't mean it is immediately. We need to act in God's perfect timing (Kairos).
2. Learn to Wait – God acts in His own time. Learn to overcome our interpretation of world events, whatever our own sense of urgency. When you are “itching” to get into action, it is the hardest thing in the world to wait (Num 22:8).
3. God Controls the Time – God controls the times & seasons. Don’t get ahead & don’t lag behind. He will reveal His time to you. (Act 1:7)
4. Question: How do we know it is God timing for us to act?
   • Agreement in spirit
   • Opportunities and doors are open. Key people or provision are available.
   • God burden's our hearts to act

• When you wait upon the Lord, you commit yourself to prayer and fasting.

• We may not fast for specific reason but to sanctify ourselves with the Lord.

• Ps 69:6, Rom 8:28

1. The world will oppose you
   1. When you try to go deeper in God, your fleshly nature will resist you.
   2. When you try to go up higher in God, the demonic principalities & power of the air will fight you.

1. How do daily devotional time help? (5 min)
   • helps you to care about other people
   • keep your stress levels down
   • set the tone for the day
   • prepares you for opportunities god presents you
2. How should I conduct my devotional time? (20 min)
   • start with some Worship
   • must have prayer
   • bible reading
   • journaling
3. How do trials help us? (10 min)
   • forces us to depend on God
   • helps us to draw nearer to God
   • keeps us humble
   • help us become stronger and in tern help others
   • helps us build character

1. confess your sins (1 john 1:9,10)
2. praise god (ps 100)
3. surrender the day to god
4. pray for family, church, and believers that you know (or whatever comes to your mind)
5. pray for leaders, missionaries, evangelism
6. pray in other tongue (1 cor 14:13,14)
7. write down that the lord gives you & do it.

• A leader has no right to tell people to pray or read the bible if they themselves are not doing it. It's hypocritical.

learn to build that relationship with GOd. the more time you spend with someone, the deeper your relationship will be.
